This fifty-page book of "Artotypes by E. Bierstadt from Original Negatives by Edward P.
Harris" was published by the Artotype Publishing Group in New York in 1891. It features
fifty plates, about forty of which concern Amherst College, from "Recitation Room, Walker
Hall" to "Oak Grove, Miss Buffum's School," which later became The Phi Gamma Delta House,
		now Marsh House

According to the Online Computer Library
Center, Bierstadt also photographed Hartford, CT (1890) and Saint Augustine, FL (1892)
for Sunlight Books. The Amherst book seems to be the only book with which Edward Park
Harris was involved, though Edward Bierstadt (1824-1906), brother of the well-known painter
Albert Bierstadt, produced a number of books of artotypes and other photographs.
