Julian Howard Gibbs '46 was Amherst's fifteenth President, and succeeded John William Ward in 1979. He served as president five years until his death in 1984. This certificate was given to Frank Yeaw, a member of the Amherst class of 1932, upon his return to Amherst for his fiftieth reunion in 1982. |
