Commencement 1919

The end of the year ceremonies for Merrick's sophomore year, 1919, are the subject of the items on this page. At the upper left is a program for the Kellogg Prize Exhibition, at which Merrick delivered Wilson's speech "The Firmament of Memory." A ticket for dancing at Pratt Gym is next over, and at the right is a listing of all the Amherst men who died in the year 1918, many in the Great War. A prgoram for the Commencement Dinner, and for the Commencement week as a whole, are found on the bottom of the page. A business card and a claim check for the Amherst Garage are the other items on the page.
