The Gamma Chapter of Delta Tau Delta was chartered in 1918, when Kappa Theta, a local fraternity that was formed from the defunct Hitchcock Club in 1910, joined the national Delta Tau Delta. This house was built in 1932, and after World War Two, the fraternity resigned from the national and became once again Kappa Theta. The house was renamed Tyler House in 1984 (Archives & Special Collections, Buildings and Grounds Collection, box 6, folder 33). |
